Cost effective, long lasting, environmentally friendly sanitisation services which is also proven to be effective against COVID-19 (Coronavirus).
In the recent wake of the Covid-19 pandemic we are working with businesses to support them with the disinfecting and sanitizing of their premises.
The background to the current pandemic involves the Coronaviruses which is a large family of viruses that cause illnesses ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV). A novel coronavirus (nCoV), it is a new strain that has not been previously identified in humans. Common signs of infection include respiratory symptoms, fever, cough, shortness of breath and breathing difficulties. In more severe cases, infection can cause pneumonia, severe acute respiratory syndrome, kidney failure and even death.
During this period and beyond it is vital that good housekeeping and hygiene standards are in place. Shield offers a service that is tailor made to individual needs.
Our trained and experienced teams are covering antiviral infection control cleaning across the Capital and Home Counties.
Elliott Environmental experienced technicians are all supplied with the requisite personal protective equipment (PPE), respiratory protective equipment (RPE) and specialist sanitisation equipment – safety is paramount to our business.
We can carry out the following services to offices, theatres, cinemas, shops, hospitals and conference centres as well as a whole host of other smaller locations.
Our cleaners will wipe down with disinfectant solutions all surfaces. This includes cleaning key human touchpoints, such as; door handles, table rims, sinks, toilets and kitchen surfaces, to help minimise the risk of infection
Using the fogging method our specialist cleaners will cover all surfaces within the space/confined area including; crockery, items in the kitchens, desk spaces and items on desks in offices and every nook and corner of a room/communal area. The treatment consists of a generated machine that disperses microscopic particulates of biocide into the air which remain airborne and fill up a relevant cubic capacity of a room. This uses the minimum amount of biocide to provide the desired biological effect. This is a proven fast acting biocide that is effective against Covid-19 and many other viruses and bacteria.
This method involves applying a fine mist of disinfectant on all the surfaces. The biocidal spray can be applied to cupboards and other spaces which the machine may not be able to penetrate.
Elliott Environmental experienced technicians follow the COVID-19 infection prevention and control guidance as set out by Public Health England. Critically, all waste will be handled as clinical waste and will be correctly segregated, transported and disposed of in line with clinical waste regulations. Special care will be made to ensure social distancing is strictly observed at all times.
Our touchless disinfection service uses only the most up to date, cost effective, tried and tested technology as part of their on-going touchless disinfecting service for all spaces and buildings because:
N.B. Please continue to follow Government instructions and Medical advice throughout the pandemic. When the treatment is being carried out all smoke alarms, sprinklers and air conditioning in and around the affected areas are to be disabled whilst the treatment is taking place and for a minimum of four hours afterwards. Also no one should return to the site for the same period. It is advisable to refrain from vacuuming for as long as possible after treatment, so that the biocide remains active.
All crockery and cutlery are to be washed before use if they are in the area that is going to be treated. Children’s toys should be removed, these can be treated but will need to be washed and/or wiped before being used again. All pets should be kept out of the treated area during the work and following the treatment for the same duration and arrangements made to either remove or cover any fish or reptiles being kept in tanks. Our Technicians will not treat any rooms that contain any animal and if a room cannot be treated it could hinder the success of our treatment.
